Brilliant Table Tennis player Bhavina Patel brings a silver medal to the country. Her amazing playing had already created a buzz all around India when she entered the semi-finals securing a medal for her nation a day ago. Bhavina played against China’s paddler Ying Zhou in the women’s singles table tennis class 4 finale match. After the game scored 0-3, Bhavina finally won the silver medal.

Bhavina Patel is the second Indian woman to win a medal in table tennis in the Paralympics. The first winner Deepa Malik, the current president of PCI (Paralympic Committee of India) also won a silver in the Rio Paralympics. Astonishingly, Malik too lost against the world’s number one Ying Zhou.

The 34 years old excellently talented Bhavina belongs to a small village in Gujarat. This big win undoubtedly made not just her village or state but the entire country immensely proud. Bhavina thanked everyone who supported her throughout her life as she had to struggle a lot during the journey. Upon Bhavina Patel’s great win, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated her on Twitter. Also, many other big names from various platforms praised Bhavina for her excellent win.
