He is none other than cricketer Krunal Pandya whose brother Hardik Pandya is also a cricketer and this brother duo play for the same team in IPL i.e. Mumbai Indians.

Krunal’s full name is Krunal Himanshu Pandya and was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat of India on 24th March of 1991. His brother’s name is Hardik Pandya who is a famous cricketer and plays in IPL as well as in International Cricket. Pandya is married to Pankhuri Sharma who happens to be a model. At an early age, he started cricket training as he was aspiring to be a cricketer in the future.
Cricket Journey of Krunal:
Krunal first debuted in 2016-17 Raji Trophy Tournament in the year 2016 for the team of Baroda. With his hard work and excellent skills in cricketing, he soon became the leading wicket-taker and runner for Baroda in the Vijay Hazare Trophy of 2016-17. Pandya scored 388 runs in 8 matches in 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy and again took the position of highest run-scorer for an average of 45.75 along with the strike rate of 81.33. and in bowling also with an economy rate of 4.82 and strike rate of 31.10 he took 11 wickets in 8 matches. After this successful chapter in the year 2011, Krunal was featured in India A tri-series against Afghanistan A and South Africa A.
In the 2018-19 Deodhar Trophy he was selected in India A’s squad and became the captain of Baroda for the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
This cricketer made his entry to IPL in the year 2016 with Mumbai Indians where his worth was 2 crore. He first debuted in an IPL match against Gujarat Lions at the Wankhede Stadium. In his debut season, he scored 86 runs from 37 balls and was able to take the wickets of Quinton De Kock and Zaheer Khan. From then he used to be the consistent player as batter and bowler both and he played an important role by scoring 47 runs in the final victory match against Rising Pune Supergiant.
In the 2018 IPL auction Pandya was again signed up for the Mumbai Indians. In the Ranji Trophy, he scored 160 runs with 21 boundaries against the Railways with a strike rate of 73.06.
But Pandya along with his excellent performance in cricket also caught attractions because of his aggressive and rude behavior towards the fielders and his teammates. Krunal has been slammed and become meme material many a time because of his rude behavior.
In India’s T20 International of 2018, Krunal was first selected in the team for their match against Australia and West Indies and he played his debut match against West Indies taking 1 wicket and making 21 runs from 9 balls on 4th November 2018. After this, he once again got selected and played three matches against Australia in T20 International.
In the year 2021, he made his ODI debut for India on 23rd March against England with a score of 58 runs remaining unbeaten. He made the fastest fifty from 26 balls in his ODI debut.
In January 2021, Pandya got rejected by the Baroda Cricket Association from Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy based on the complaint made by another Indian cricketer Deepak Hooda due to his use of abusive language and threats to him.
