This is the love story of Rocky Randhawa, a Punjabi sweet seller from Delhi and Rani Chatterjee, a news anchor daughter of an educated Bengali family.
Which is completed by completing the incomplete love of both the grandparents. Dharmendra has become Ranveer Singh’s grandfather and Shabana Azmi has become Alia’s grandmother.
But in the midst of all this is Ranveer Singh’s grandmother i.e. Jaya Bachchan who is a strict mother-in-law and mother and does not allow any relationship to be established.
